I've read it - it seems to be bubbling with admiration in spite of the innuendo - now back to you - are you suggesting that the interest paid should be booked before the interest earned? Or that both should be accrued? What are the practical complications of doing this when contracts can be varied? Do you think that the outside directors of Barrick have received independent advice on the hedge book?

Are you and Barrick's competitors are envious that Barrick pioneered this system?

Fianlly, how many months/years will it take for Barrick's share price to overtake Newmont's? There must be a spread you could play on this like the old ABX/PGD spread?
