It is quite feasible that we could defeat the Islamic terrorist factions, and that the benighted people of that superstition could be reformed and led into the modern world. That won't be easy, but it is very possible. The American left, however, will continue its war against the US and our ideals for as long as they can draw a breath. We can sweep them out of power-and, indeed, progress is being made there. But their hate for liberty and enlightened thought is part of their nature, and will never die...
