How do you define a "hugh" short. 10%, 20% or more of the float?

How do you define volume "pick up"?

My guess also is there's no significant short because it doesn't seem to make sense to short VNWC now.

However, with an apparently strong Canadian contingency involved with this stock the five-dollar U.S. short limit could be moot.

Also, I recall from a previous filing that Kleinwort-Benson Channel Islands has an interest in VNWC, and certainly shorting could be done from that direction.

So, again, the U.S. shorting restrictions may not be applicable to VNWC.

So, one more time! The question: If there's a short, why?

Is the answer: Because the table is now being set for a higher share price and, thus, the price is shorted down so as to allow for certain parties to get in on the in?

Shorting is not my forte so I'm, interested in hearing more from those of you who do know about shorting. Thanks!

There is a huge short position from players that where betting that this is going BK soon

And roomers that there are blocks available below market

Well the float is 2M only and there is NO stock coming in to the float any time soon

Dear ShortSeller

Finally, lets do the math on this short position. The current float on VNWC is currently 2.1 million shares. the short position is probably 1,500,000 and more . That is about 70% of the float. Past experience spells trouble.
