I assume people at the apex of any religious group are essentially people with a good heart and good intentions...misplaced, fanatic faith, but people who essentially mean well...... Nuclear energy is dangerous...when used for specific, evil purposes. It can be a source of goodness if used well......like you said, its just a tool....meant essentially for the good... I've seen religion bring solace and peace to people's lives.....and i have often longed to have that kind of blind faith in the unknown.....would take a paradigm shift though ! <g> Religions compete for market share, but nobody has productised it yet. It comes as a complete, integrated solution......imagine having to get tied up with General Electric for EVERYTHING, all thru your life....i'd like smaller, better packaged products and lots of choices....every religion would then strive to serve the public rather than be served by the public...
