What about operating vs storage temperature, which is what Heatsinker brought up? MirrorBit doesn't seem able to operate at any higher temperatures than StrataFlash. My thought was that a design decision in high density flash devices was not to prioritize the operating temperature range over density and performance. Other flash lines may prioritize things differently.
