12:03 ET Philly Fed falls to 9.1 in May; below expectations
The May Philly Fed index fell to 9.1 from 12.3 in April; the consensus was 12.0. This is weaker than expected and hit the market, but it should be noted that a 3 pt change in this index is trivial; in the past, it has missed expectations by 10-20 pts on occasion. It is not a very reliable indication of the manufacturing sector and this forecast miss was small by historical standards.

I'm baffled why our stuff is hanging in so far with this very negative A/D ratio.
