Those were excellent thoughts, Jewel ... and eloquently expressed. You reveal yourself as a man of great compassion for other's feelings and well-being. My overall response would be that if your philosophy of posting ethics were somehow to be implemented ... then the most sensitive, the most touchy, or even the most unstable personality on SI would set the bar as to what could be posted. This, in turn, would create a mellow and safe environment for all ... which would not in the least way resemble the SI of the present or past. Whether that would be good, bad, or indifferent, is for each to say.
