jj, WCOM is accounting for lots of volume, as it is a penny stock right now. Yesterday it did 350-million shares, down 300-million from the day before, but still about 300-million more than normal. Today it appears WCOM's volume may be "only" 150-million shares.

I'm no volume expert, but when shorts are sitting on their hand and there is a buyers strike, we have low volume. When there is volatility and shorts covering, we get greater volume. This week's volume is so skewed that I can't really get a good bead on it. Maybe there is someone who could lend us some insight.

One thing I do know is if today was a failed test of yesterday's blow-off top, the lower volume and drop in price confirms the reversal and a drop to test underlying support.
