KLP: The more you try to pin this on Clinton, the deeper you'll fall into the Abyss of False Blame. Even Republicans like Sen. Shelby of Alabama are starting to distance themselves from the administration.

Who knows. Maybe GWB's mind was on something other than world terrorism when he received the briefing at his Texas ranch. Maybe he was more concerned about keeping his kids out of jail.
