I've heard it described accurately as "conveyor belt commentary". It's much like rap songs, where doofy teenagers mouth the words they hear on the radio.

You hear the same phrases over and over, rather than any actual thought process.

The demogogues never think about the eventual consequences of simple-minded diatribes and truth-avoidance.
