Kevin: It may be amusing, but for those who get hurt it's tragic. I just read the entire column you posted. The last paragraph said that the study was on "Maria's reports on 322 stocks during the bull market in mid 2000." I suspect her influence has diminished since them, though I'm sure there are many folks who follow her still. I recall a few weeks ago she was on the floor of the NYSE and whispered premarket, "Traders are telling me that they're buying IBM." They weren't.
