If I may point out, the new Star Office version is 6.0. And the previous version was 5.2. And OpenOffice 1.0 was based on StarOffice 5.2. So what's this loose talk about a "1.0" version?

And Star Office had at least 30% share in Germany for several years. (Maybe, that explains the German showing up that Mossberg mentioned). In any case, there were millions of users of Star Office before this new version. So, again, it's not that Sun let loose an untested version on an unsuspecting, impartial Walter Mossberg.
