Ali- Overall, I am leaning to wanna's viewpoint...Excuse me, which viewpoint? That AMD products suck no matter what?

Classic Ali Chen. You crack me up some times.

I am leaning towards the viewpoint that Strataflash and mirrorbit have similar specs. So the real battle will be cost and density. Now if mirrorbit is easier to manufacture, then that should translate into lower manufacturing costs.

Wanna is OK. He has some good points, just needs to communicate his points with fewer posts.

Ali:

"He has no point what-so-ever, only an
intent to bash."

These guys are living in the past when the "non-techie" consumer paid an INTC insurance premium (i.e. higher price) for the quality "placebo"...Now that the consumer is much more educatewd and AMD has established a track record for quality, the consume, a much more tech-savvy consumer than 5 years ago, has no need nor inclimation to pay a quality "placebo" premium...

Quite simply, AMD is now producing superior flash and cpu products at fair prices, while INTC is producing fair flash and cpu product at superior prices, an INTC model, which is perilously close to running on empty...

No matter how loud and how frequently wanna and his choirboys (yea Yusef, you're the soprano...make it so) sing, they can no longer drown out the AMD "superior product at fair price" tune...

INTC's choir might be singing underwater by the end of FY03, the way AMD's tune is catching on...
