Are you aware of how many American companies have operations in Israel? Every major semiconductor company has large design centers in the Tel Aviv area, including Intel, Motorola, National Semiconductor etc.

Israel is a vital trading and economic partner of the US, and they make their income through hard productive work, unlike some of their neighbors who feed off the UN, oil money, or interest on the US debt.

A few weeks ago, the Palestinians sent a rash of homicide bombers into Israel.

When the Israelis responded, the Palestinian authority claimed that Sharon had invaded Palestine with the intention of staying permanently, and that hundreds of civilians were being massacred.

Unfortunate that the attention span of the press is too short to recognize such contemptuous disregard for the truth.

Your terrorist buddies are about to start a nuclear war. How many women and children do you think they can take out?

Dicing with Armageddon

From The Economist Global Agenda

The latest terrorist outrage in Kashmir has pushed India and Pakistan a little closer to the brink. Could this spark the first war between nuclear powers?

?IT IS just this type of barbarism that the international war on terrorism is determined to stop.? So said Christina Rocca, the top American diplomat for South Asia, of the killing on May 14th of 34 people, most of them soldiers? wives and children, who were travelling on a bus in Kaluchak in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also the sort of attack that India has given warning would provoke retaliation against Pakistan, which could spark the first war between nuclear powers.
