I don't know about numbers in the morning but I read that SEMI book to bill is out tonite.

edit - Am wondering if that is an unfounded rumour tho. Last month's report was 4/22 and there is no PR on the semi.org site to say this month's will be early. Anyone know for sure?

2nd edit - On last month's b2b report they do in fact state that the may report is due out today.

QQQ trading at $32.94 and Dell is not really subsiding that much. When I say strong, I meant that in relative terms. In this market if they can push up Dell in the morning, they may be able to get people to jump on the bandwagon. We will see. I just did not think they would keep this psuedo rally going into Friday, it has taken me by suprise.

The SOXX H&S seems to measure to around 475 or so on the 5-minute.

The way this may play out is how some of the expirations played out back in June and July. We ramped all the way to Friday, and sold off after noon on Friday.

The tepid support below (20-EMA, top of gap, etc) may be the reason they dare not drop this yet. We may go up in the AM for a final test of 1735/1759 before dropping to test 1694.
