Seems like a lot of stocks are in that same position. Amat, Qlgc, etc. If we do get a rally it could gather momentum very quickly.

Nice chart. Do you have a time frame for intc breaking out or is it just if it breaks or not? imho, if the rally is to occur it will need some of the old guard to lead it e.g. intc msft amat csco.

Jeff, have you got a read on msft? AA, over on the cfz e-wave board mentioned major resistance at 55.90, I think and the 50 day average is a little less than a point above that .

Remeber that nikkei chart that we were commenting on? If you have a moment, pull up a yahoo nikkei chart that shows the maximum timeframe and then pull up a 5 year msft chart and compare the peaks and valleys and percentage moves.
I think that you will find it interesting. If the comparison were to continue, msft would put in a lower low than the Dec. 2000 low very shortly. The thing is, you can't really bet on history repeating itself.<g>
