Are you saying this to JFK? No. You. He should have gotten used to the nuclear missiles in Cuba that were aimed at America? No. He did the right thing. He used US muscle to get them out. And American foreign policy has invariably favored brutal dictatorship over democracy. Invariably? Two well known counter examples come to mind. Western Europe after WW2. Japan after WW2.
