Today's rumours involving Vivendi Univeral/Canal Plus Tech are proof that LBRT shares are undervalued and present an attractive opportunity.
Liberty snatched up OPTV and gunning for IATV at bargain basement prices and Vivendi is trying the same thing here.
regards to the longs,

Liberate has said, among other guidance, that it expects to become profitable on a pro forma basis by the end of the second quarter of its fiscal 2003, which ends Nov. 30, 2002.

It's all well and good to plan to be profitable on a pro forma basis, or on an EBITDA basis, or whatever, but wouldn't you rather see a prediction of profit on an earning-money-faster-than-you-spend-it basis?

Don't get me wrong, I like Liberate's product, and wish them well. But I want to see the potential for some profits before buying my "collector's stock certificate, suitable for framing or wrapping fish."
