Chris. I wish you had not made an issue of the PMs. You don't wish it any more than I do, I guarantee you. I don't pretend that everything I have said or done in this process has been the most intelligent thing, or the kindest. Anybody who is perfect, please raise you hands? Hmmm ... I don't see any hands raised. Oh, there's Rambi in the corner lifting a finger. And deservedly so. But that's the only one I see. All I can say is that I have intended many various, sometimes contradictory things, but I have never intended deliberately to cause serious pain to anyone. Except maybe jla and Solon who deserve to suffer if one can make them. <g> I am starting to feel like a double agent here and it is very uncomfortable I'm sorry. I have grown to have a great deal of respect for your integrity and openmindedness. I feel that you are the only person who is truly listening to and thinking about what is said without ever once engaging in peripheral attacks on people on the "other side." I sincerely regret your discomfort.
