Nonetheless, a senior administration official said on Wednesday night that there was speculation within the government that heightened security ‹ if it truly existed in August and September ‹ might have prompted the hijackers to use box cutters and plastic knives to avoid detection. More lies! they did nothing to alert the airlines about the threat.... let alone get the list of those already known TO the airlines to screen....and since the hijackers used their REAL names....many would not have been able to board. CC
