Re: Star Office panned in Wall St Journal

Yes, I always buy my hardware and software after reading their reviews in the WSJ. I am waiting for their review before plunking down for the Starfire 15K.

You are such a fount of original wisdom. Just like your hero, the great Walter Mossberg. No one bought software before WM arrived to enlighten us. Maybe, they should rename the WSJ as The Last Word on Software. Perhaps, it will help their declining circulation.

Star Office panned in Wall St Journal & StarOffice 6.0 is #1 on Amazon, the very next day

Coincidence? It seems that the Wall Street Journal is a good contrary indicator. True, Walter Mossberg moves the software market - but only in the wrong direction.
