This is a fact and material characteristic. TA in this area is often so rife with obfuscation that the charts can be made to say anything a party or parties want. I want to provide a real world example; check out KVHI, I just purchased more this week and feel like I will own it for 5 to 10 years barring acquisition. KVHI makes four distinct product lines, all with military and civillian applications, all of the respective markets are only now comeing into use in the applications targeted. KVHI's board right here on SI has perhaps one of SI's finest DD people, Sector Investor. I would put this guy up against any Wall Street guy on a Stock by Stock basis. Study his posts on the KVHI thread and you might actually learn something. KVHI has just been awarded patents for simplified FOG Gyroscopes, what these are, Fiber Optic Gyros, they are precision instruments that aid in direction, stabilization, control, & measurements. These FOGS as the acronym depicts will go into everything from vehicles, to yachts, to munitions. In fact because of FOG systems, our strategic defense may in part be defended by an anti missle system designed for ships, called Aegis. Aegis equipped with KVHI FOGS becomes a system far more important than a sea based platform, I listened to CNO on CSPAN a while back who eluded to this and once one understands the nature of missle trajectories and such, it becomes immediately clear how an improved Aegis system would become a key part of infrastructure defense. KVHI it's all laid out for you at their web site and summarized by master analyst Sector Investor at SI page. The float is as precious as platinum, very thin, but as recognition of this company unfolds, this stock will run to split several times in the coming years. This is really the juice as an investor should look for, liquidity expansion based on performance against forward fundamentals. Neither myself nor Sector pumps stocks for trading, we are buy and hold investors. What I have elected to do is make some of our research available to other investors, in a small way to help take back control of some of these stocks, from market forces like hedge funds. Hey if it's a great idea, you'll know it. If it's not feel free to tell me why not? Maybe I've missed something. PS dont PM me as a trader, I could care less about the next six months.
