Gottfried -- agreed. I have traded each of those mentioned also. Additionally all are held in M-funds. BRK A & B are fairly reliable. They are rarely volatile and maintain stability in a portfolio. Something like owning a co that pays a huge div that is reinvested......... I always have some in my portfolio but still find it tradeable. What other company has never had a loss year since '65? Its not for everyone--- but when my daughter delivers the twins this fall each gets a A share and that may well pay most of the ed bills in 18 years,,
