The biggest threat to the war on terrorism would be a lack of credibility by the White House. Trying to stonewall their way out of this is not a good idea. It appears that the White House was asleep at the wheel on Sept. 11.

They should come clean and explain what they are doing better now- so that the war effort can move forward.

Dear Michael: Yeah, that Daschle just proves again what a SNEAKY SOB he is trying to Syruppy attack the Pres. Looks like the Media is coming out to support Bush on this. All the talk shows I saw last night basically agreed no way Bush could have known or done anything differently. God, how do people vote for someone like Daschle? I always thought Dakotans were a sensible bunch not taken in by a snake oil salesman? jdn

Axis of evil, the chief defenders of the liar, the rapist, the assaulter. Sadly I expected this.

Both Senate Plurality Leader Tom Daschle and House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt, along with presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton and a whole host of lesser Democrats, have called for a probe into the White House's handling of intelligence they suggest could have prevented the 9-11 catastrophe
