OK, I know I said few unkind words about the land-and-eat- bullets crowd and I am really sorry. I was being facile and glib and shooting from the lip. I will make it up bydoing some community work and planting a few petunias around the barracks.

But you know that movie with Jack Nicholson was based on a true story. Marines don't always win. In fact at Inchon they had to back up. Way up. Their equipment was all frozen. Not enough cold weather training or graphite grease I am afraid. Rotten seals on the headear and all that. Never saw a marine in the bush in the winter time. Keeping the quipment running at 40 below should be on the curriculum. If it had been in the German army we would be speaking Deutsche on dis thread.

Gold above ground in banks. Not enough for the paper.

75% makes its way to jewellry. I would say 10 to 15% is in banks. The Rothschilds trade 2500 ounce per day at the BOL. Not much, but it makes a box.
