A cry for justice in Pakistan

This is based on The NYTimes report today on page A3.
Under the laws of Zina, a rape victim should recruit before the act four willing male witnesses ready to testify in the court, all muslims, all outstanding citizens, all with upright character, when she is raped which she should forsee as to the time and place of occurrence. The testimony of non-muslims and women is not admissible. The women can't testify because they don't have the testis.(This used to be the custom in Europe long time ago.) If she is lucky enough to escape honor killing by ever-willing close relatives, the courts will oblige her with punishment that is right out of the hell: death by stoning. Even a compassionate judge can't lay aside the impact of stone-hard hudood, Koran-based law.
Some compassionate well-to-do secular muslim families take these victims and hide them from the tyranny of hudood and employ them as maids.
