Almost agree but think emc will never be what it was. many of the customers they had have gone poof and those the big guys like ibm had will stay with them... jmbs

Arrow, true that San Jose is heavily into DASD, but when I was around quite a few of the engineering heavies worked out of Tucson, especially for control unit stuff as I recall. Looks like quite a retrenchment for Blue once again, with the rumors of Vermont being on the block. I also heard today that a bunch of land fronting Route 9 that IBM owns in the town of Poughkeepsie is being sold and turned into a Marriott hotel and a Starbucks.... We shall see <ggg>. Personally, I vote for the Starbucks for sure.... Best regards, John
