RE: "...iCell, which combines a Delta test handler with a Terdayne tester..."

Do you have any more details? What kinds of chips are targeted? What kinds of packaging are supported? What does "combines" really mean?

TIA

Hi Steve,
BMS send infor by microwave to satellites. This was Rocket science back when Korean Olympics were exclusively covered by BMS satellite transmissions half way accross the world.

In watching another show the Unmanned Drones tie up a satellite as they use a huge spectrum of band width(many different sensors) all reporting "live time" - including video and armament systems.I'd guess BMS was providing a ground based uplink to defense satellites as the drones flew recon.BWDIK.

Thanks for the report.

Cohu's three smaller businesses are cash cows - a nice plus during downturns.Management quite properly doesn't dream about growing these niche businesses. They're quite properly sized and managements is smart not to go after big growth in small but very lucrative niches.

Cohu has all to do - to stay the dominant testhandler globally - and deal with the cycles that throws them.
