let me defend Palestinians for a change. The problem lies not only with Palestinians but also with "civilized" countries (pretty much all Europe) who suggest that terrorist behavior should be tolerated and consider acts of terrorism and figting against terrorism as morally equivalent. An attitude like that allows relatively small militant groups to speak for all Palestinians and be recognized as legitimate representative of Palestinian people.

What one must understand, however, is that like everything in our universe, even moral absolutes are variable over time. What is today considered "terrorism" would have been acceptable warfare in another day and time. What we see as barbarism today was once routine behavior undertaken without even a second thought.

Well said.
