In my view, history has shown that everything IS possible. And even if your view is correct, that peace is impossible or unattainable in the Middle East, I'd still take that arrogant road toward trying to attain it. That, imo, is where the higher virtue lies, not in the continued humiliating oppression of masses of people because history suggests no other alternative is possible.
