(URS) obtained a contract of up to $45 million from the U.S. Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence for architectural, engineering and planning services at military installations and U.S. Department of Defense facilities worldwide. In a press release Friday, the company said it will provide design, planning, construction management, environmental and other services. The primary objectives of the project are to provide improved military family housing, force protection, commercial facilities and infrastructures, URS said. A company spokesman wasn't immediately available for further information. URS, which had revenue of $2.32 billion in the year ended Oct. 31 , offers planning, design, and program and construction management services for industrial and infrastructure projects. The company's shares opened up 56 cents, or 1.9%, to $30.04 Friday. Per Yahoo stats they're est. to earn 2.84 this year and 3.09 next...nice low PE...and a whopper of a contract! tuna
