Paul, I doubt I have btb data before Jan '95. PE data would not help IMO, but you can get 10 years' worth here quicken.com

But I wouldn't trust it if I made investment decisions based on it.

I occasionally lurk here and also wondered what happened to him. His profile

shows his last post on Christmas Day 2000, about a year and a half ago. If he's still around (but not posting) he should be in his mid-eighties. If not.... then I'm sure he will be remembered for his genial posts and faith in AMAT stock.
