various things: The rumor making the rounds goes beyond csco being interested...supposedly csco made an offer at 8-10 many moons ago, and sons rejected it. I have written about sons at length before. At this point, they probably should sell the company. I just don't want to add to telco equip at this point...so therfore I added wcom thinking that down here, if it isn't going broke, it's probably smarter than buying more on the equip side.

The bounce in big pharma is a good sign for growth(if they don't wanna pay a pe of 20 on pfe, why in hell are they gonna pay 75x for qlgc? we need non tech growth to get better too) A better sign was tyc, aol, and ge getting better...(big cap growth sheds off debt concerns type of thing)....wcom should be next, but the telco area is being thought of as having a particularly huge problem due to overcapacity, so the institutions are tredding softly for now....at some point it will be a bum's rush..telco equip may be the last to recover
