questioning authority starts with challenging Greenspurn
he has been deified, but is incredibly flawed in forecasts
and in acceptance of heretical policy practices

in February 2002 he and Treasury Secy ONeill were asked inside Congress to provide information about the amount of gold that remains in our national treasure
they refused to answer
what grounds?
"to do so would inhibit our flexibility in managing the currency exchange stabilization"

translation: 50% of our nation's gold is gone

most citizens dont care much about our nation's gold
but I believe eventually, like within 3-4 years, the only thing stopping our USdollar from descending further will be how much gold collateral is behind it
the answer will be "not much"
Europe has 15x the gold backing their money

we have lost all concept of what a DOLLAR is
I could not honestly answer "what is a dollar?"
I know what it buys, at least today, but not tomorrow

our nation is not well educated
sure, the suburban families are, when they are not high on drugs
which is a great deal of the time
generally the wealthier the suburb, the bigger the drug problem

but kids spend more time on PC games and Nintendo than reading
do we expect them to challenge Greenspasm or CEO's?
no way, they will trust brokerage analyst opinions, central banker cheerleaders

this unfolding of events is sad
our entire economy is the biggest debt-driven bubble the world has ever seen
and it will gradually come apart at the seams

WHICH WILL MAKE GOLD SHINE BRIGHTLY
gold makes up my entire retirement plan
like RR says, develop a plan and stick with it
