Not necessarily. Someone can still take settlement on the $12.50s depending on their prediction of the Monday morning open.

I can choose settlement or not, in or out of the money. If good news comes out after the Friday close you may settle even out of the money. If it's bad news you may choose to pass in the money. Your choice.

At least at Fidelity.

Thanks, I got the first part right, but because of the Internet troubles, I couldn't execute on the second part. I think I will wait where the stock trades in the next week or so before writing more calls. I don't want to do it in $11.60 range.

BTW, I bought a few shares today.
