"Which wins - technology recovery or liquidity backlash?"

Both. Business has had its recession. It didn't show up in GDP cos GDP is focused on the consumer. The tech recovery will come from increased business spending. Don't get too excited tho cos although technically a recovery (as in better yr/yr comparisons for capital spending), it will not be making new highs.

Now the consumer recession starts due to high debt. There's your liquidity backlash.

Paul, I think it was you and I who pretty much agreed on a short list of tech stocks that were set to be the leaders for the next few years. BEAS was one. Do you think they are threatened by anything in this item about the New Solaris 9?
