Searle, one thing that can be pointed out is that numerous warnings of hijackings, bioterror, bombings, etc. have been received or over the last 20 years--where do you start to uncover a specific threat? I've heard of suitcase nukes and stinger missiles being a terrorist threat since the early '90's. Clinton rested on his laurels,or should I say Monica's, and didn't keep intelligence up.

As for conspiracy, for the members of the US government to plan attacks or know about them and still allow them to happen is treason. If found out they deserve their heads on pikes on the White House gate. So far all I see is low level officials who suggested these things might happen. This does not make a conspiracy since there are likely dozens of warnings issued at this level all the time by conscientious agents.

Now some of these sites seem to think Bush is the Axis of Evil. But it is obvious to me that if there were a conspiracy, it started with the Oklahoma and first WTC attacks. Personally, I believe the idea that McVeigh either was innocent, or a part of a much larger conspiracy. It was too convenient that patriot groups took the blame. Also The FBI threatened many people such as relatives of McVeigh that if they didn't cooperate they'd go down too.
