I noticed ! <gg>

It's not going to get any easier as things progress next week.

Expect some real fireworks in the next few weeks, as the entrenched move to protect their position. Unfortunately, after listening to David Brooks of the Weekly Standard tonight on Lehrer, he's even agreeing with Mark Shields and saying the truth should be sought. That's bad news for anyone trying to stonewall.

It leaves very few options for those who may think they have information to protect, and who have their hands on some serious military and spook levers. The only way they'll get America's mind off of a serious investigation is a catastrophic military adventure.

The undertone from Rumsfeld and Cheney isn't good. It's a threat, not to look into this matter any further "or else", is what I'm hearing. Since Rummy was called by Kissinger the "most ruthless man" he'd ever met, that leaves a range of ruthless options not easy to contemplate.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
