True. Any Demo Prexy who opened diplomatic relations with China would have been accused of being real soft on Communism. Who the hell was going to accuse Nixon of being soft on Communism?

If a Democratic administration had produced some of the spending that this one has signed off on or made those trade decisions, there would be hell to pay.
But no Democratic administration would have made those decisions.

I don't see how that is less horrific than money for schools to teach diversity or self esteem.
