Lawrence,

keep in mind that AMAT is a technical short, not a fundamental one. The failure to break a triple top is bearish, but the INTC chart is suggesting a change in trend for the chip sector. It is important to pay attention to your stop losses.

Though INTC is still technically in a down trend (50 day EMA is below the 100 day EMA , which is below the 200 EMA), it has also broken the down trend channel dating back to the beginning of the year. Note that INTC accounts for a as much as 30 percent of all semi equip spending. Obvious the INTC guidance for the next 2 Q's is modest, but a change in trend and investor mood is being suggested.

Anyone know the status of Nasdaq stocks trading below $1.00? In theory they were supposed to be de-listed after January, but stocks like CMTN and CFLO are still on the exchange. So what gives?
