OT. There are obviously some "lines of communication" problems that need to be fixed with the intelligence community. This isn't something that happened overnight. I believe that is has been there for quite some time and the unfortunate and tragic events of 9-11 has been the vehicle to expose the problem. JMHO.

It is rather simple to understand that what the twidling Demoncrats want is threefold: 1) an (non)issue to distract from GDubya's superlative handling of the terrorist issues since 9-11 ( Slick Willy and/or Gore-the-Bore/Loserman would still be taking opinion polls on what to do ) 2) a good photo-op for some of their prospective candidates and 3) a Republican designed "..McDonald's drive-up and get your instant solution.." answer to this major problem, in the unlikely event anyone ever let them back in the White House; since most of them are too busy fiddling around with their interns to address real issues. What a trip. John :-) .
