Yeah that chapter is about principle-agent problem, moral hazard etc. This is a new chapter added in the latest edition. There is a limit to how many things we can teach in a semester especially if we want the students to remember the stuff rather than just skim it superficially. I am figuring it will likely be the last topic on my syllabus, so if I run out of time it won't get covered. Now the prof who has been teaching this for years (there are three classes in parallel each semester) that he's thinking about changing books to another one that I don't think is nearly as good and doesn't cover these topics. It would be kind of ironic if I adopt the book I was told he wanted to use and he switches to a different one...

Next week I am going to get into the detail on my other syllabus for Environmental Economics - I already chose a text but lots of additional readings need to be added.

Right now I am taking a break from sorting and packing books etc.

Winter weather here now today. Should be snow on the mountains. 10-11C max in Canberra last couple of days.
