Do you remember Gus, the Evil One who who made Darth Vader look like Pollyana? I'll never forget an exchange I had with him at the Nokia thread in '00 concerning his steadfast belief, backed up with gallons of bile and poison, that Q would tank because of "component part shortages". Well, Q tanked, but it had nothing to do with component part shortages. The bubble simply burst. The options discussions remind me of Gus's obsession. Though John is a whole lot nicer than Gus. No chance of John ever being on my i-list. Clark's analysis is probably correct. Tempest in a teapot.
