What I wouldn't do is sabotage any effort for peace that returns the borders to where they were prior to war. What I wouldn't do is grow estatic every time Mexican women and children are slaughtered just because they're Mexican. Ten, what if, having conquered us, Mexico is exacting heavy taxes from us. Most of the crops we grow and the products we produce in our factories are shipped to Mexico for their consumption. Wonder if these Mexican women and children you are so protective of live in luxury while you and your family and/or friends live in hovels. How long would it take before the thin veneer of civility wears off? If you can't see how a legitimate desire for freedom and justice can be twisted into an evil desire for conquest and revenge, then I don't see how you'll ever understand my point-of-view. I can see how a legitimate desire for freedom can be thwarted repeatedly, leading to intense frustration. Eventually, I can see the frustration lead to the surfacing of the dark, ugly side that resides in all of us and having it take over. Nonetheless, I understand your point of view because for a long time I held that same point of view. However, there is a possibility that there has been misinterpretation and what I said in the above paragraph may be closer to the reality than your point of view. Can you understand that other point of view? <I thought you were in favor of Sharon's heavy handedness.> Understanding it is not the same as being in favor of it. Many have accused you of being in favor of terrorism, no? Good point! I had not seen you make the distinction before. ted
