I would expect a repeat of something that would have the same economic impact as 9/11. In my view, this would be an attack on Wall Street with a dirty nuke. The economic impact would be substantial as the cleanup would take a long, long time and would presumably disrupt markets in a huge way. The inability to liquidate securities positions would have a devastating impact on the US and global economies.

If successful, it would also have deep symbolic value as it would show the inability of the US to protect an area which had already been hit.

Simply thinking like a terrorist.
