This goes to what I was saying. There is a lot of latitude in the how management decides to value their portfolio since the companies are private. I think this is a can of worms. When you see a company have a CC to answer the shorts, that's a red flag.

Folks, fwiw, Glassman article on bottom fishing: washingtonpost.com I believe most stocks mentioned now by him have already been discussed here (when their stock prices were lower); several posters may still have their positions. Paul S.
