FADG is in favour of opposing a reformation of the United Nations and forming an international legal system.

You paint with too broad a brush. Add me to the supporters of a democratic world government, as utopian as it might sound nowadays. Check out my #reply-17318507 for an example of voices from within the USA noting the violation of international law and treaties.

Another one of your broad brush strokes was:

They will turn the USA to murderous totalitarian Moslem mania if they get a chance. #reply-17486557

Moslems are human beings like all of us. You certainly are capable of differentiating between Moslems and Islamofascists.

>>Here's another problem the USA is producing for itself<<

It goes with the territory of trying to be a global police force ,ironically, the very same thing America ( the Right Leaning anyway ) despises from the UN.

On China : They believe the US is trying to keep them down or hold them back etc..etc.. from what I'm not certain...superpower envy?...maybe.But their fear mongering rhetoric on Taiwan during the elections there was pretty convincing , and America has pretty well committed itself to defending it.So it has been a war of words thus far ,with a little muscle flex here and a strategic maneuver there , just to keep them at bay I believe. But there are indications that America will some day end up going head to head with China. It will be in their backyard though , and likely over Taiwan .

Regarding Moslem terrorism : They likely see it as a threat to the Communist regime ..and rightfully so.

Regarding The Chinese embassy in Belgrade : No mistake , they took it out because the Chinese were interfering. Serves em right....the mistake thang was for them to save face..nothing more.

Regarding : " FADG is in favour of opposing a reformation of the United Nations and forming an international legal system. ".

I think I'm the only one who favoured that initiative on SI, except yourself maybe, but I'm looking from another position on the map...as are you.I understand the concern , but believe it to be related to fear mongering towards the isolationist and America first types. No problemo here , that's their prerogative , but the issue got poor air play from the media in a time when no one wants to criticize the administration in fear of being labeled UN - American or UN -patriotic etc... during War time. It will be looked at again in a few years time , after its had the chance to be all it can be or die in the murky swamps of UN partisan politics.

Regarding Kyoto CO2 controls : Ambitious at best... unrealistic more likely. A watered down version might garner more acceptance ...that's the way it is shaping up to mois.

The UN is a beast of burden, but it's the only beast we have right now. What many don't ask is , what would have happened if it did not exist or the US stayed out back in the 50's. Would we be here on FADG ? Noone can say! But I agree , it does need fixin and the US has the tools to do the job if it gets public support.Turning away is not the answer.IMO.

Regarding World Mayhem : I think it has just started and will take resolve and determination to nip it in the bud. OH! And a little honesty wouldn't hurt either, eh?

Regards,

Gotta run for now...nice chatting with you M.
