Oceanography guys at Princeton told me that raised ocean ph is the reason for coral bleaching not temperature increase which popular media mentions. Latter always seemed rubbish to me as temperatures were higher a few thousand years ago. But CO2 levels haven't been this high in 10-20 million years so that current corals may not be well adapted. Most of the CO2 we emit goes into the ocean (which is why future climate change won't be as bad as generally believed).
