Hi Doug...you wrote:

>>Thank you 4figureau for your post. I'am sure everyone here understands that this is just a first step that requires lots and lots more "look into these" before any buy or sell,<<

The main purpose for this list of 50 is just as you say. It's a starting point with many names to be added and deleted over the next few years. I believe that we are in the first inning with only (and even that was a foul ball;) one out. The majority of the list will fail badly...some will do great. My short list includes: YWO, YMC.U, EPM.U, SEA, ITS, NGX, and RCW for now.

>>but just imagine if Russ, Claude, Jim, Liz, etc. on this thread could mention any knowledge of these that they already have, such as "watching" "stay away" "etc" <<

Be sure to include lost_in_africa. I like what he has to say about a few on my list. For technical interpretations, they (Russ, Claude, Liz, etc.) are smart beyond their years. My contribution will come from over 20 years of studying the power players, their track record -- who they trade through, what deals they fund...when they are selling...what they are reinvesting in...and what major they are going to suck in next.(G)

Argentina Gold was a great example of this...while many were debating tonnage, and drill holes etc.-- the real play was observing how the Lundin's were "using" NEM, by way of a PP to force Barrick to play their hand. ABX bit...and started to aggressively accumulate through RBC -- in the open market -- 9.9% of ARP stock. You know the rest :)

>>I hope there's enough room in Dodge for russwinter's thread and this new one. Its moderated :O) :o) ;+)SI: StockTalk: Gold, Mining, and Natural Resources : A to Z Junior Mining Research Site (moderated subject what is this?)<<

The fact is I am a research junkie, and take it very seriously...and may tend to get into a posting frenzy at times. This could be considered rude by some. So when the uncontrollable urge hits me...I'll do it on the A to Z thread :)

The moderated subject decision comes from my low tolerance for personal attacks...which is best explained by E.R.:

Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.

Sure do hope Elanor was talking about "gossip" as opposed to saying nice things ;)..otherwise some mind expansion is in order. (g)
