The way health insurance 'figures into the grand scheme of things' ... ...is that the premiums for it are skyrocketing. Both for the employed, as the corporations are passing more and more costs of it onto their employees .. and particularly and especially the self-employed who must pay 'individually.' Without it, I really don't know what would happen. But I think that anyone who has none will lose everything they own paying medical costs out-of-pocket. This is for starters if you care to discuss the reality of costs. bia
